We have received reports of issues updating HealthEquity accounts when attempting to complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompts for these accounts in the Empower Dashboard.
There are two types of MFA: CAPTCHA, and Passkey.
CAPTCHA
CAPTCHA typically involves solving a puzzle such as identifying objects in a picture or entering text displayed in the CAPTCHA. This method of MFA is not currently supported for linking HealthEquity accounts to your Empower Dashboard.
Passkey
A Passkey is usually a code or word used to authenticate your identity. If you use a Passkey for your Health Equity account, please contact support.
Our aggregation team is investigating the issue with this MFA type, and while we do not have an ETA at this time, we will update this page once we have new information.
