If you haven't logged in to your Empower Personal Dashboard (formerly Personal Capital) in a while, you may have some trouble signing in for the first time. Follow these steps to get back in to your account:
- Navigate to https://www.empower.com/ and click 'Login'.
- Select the Middle of the 3 options on the next page, 'Empower Personal Dashboard Outside of a Workplace Account' and click Login.
- Enter your email address into the email field on the next page and click continue.
- On the next screen, enter your password.
If you have forgotten your password:
- Click the 'Forgot Password' link below the Password field in step 4.
- Enter your email address and click continue. If an account exists at that address, you will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
- Once you receive the email, click 'Reset Password'.
- You will be taken to a screen that says Find Account with two options: Text me or Call me. Select the option appropriate for your device- please note that you will need a mobile phone to receive a text.
- The code will be sent to the phone number we have on file- If you do not get a code, please contact support.
- Enter the code provided in the code field. You will then be able to create a new password.
- Once you have created a new password, you can log in to your account normally.
