The Accounts Panel contains a list of all accounts that you have linked or created within your Empower Dashboard, and is located on the left side of the dashboard. This panel will collapse into a gray pull-out bar, with a ">" symbol at the top, on the left side of the dashboard if the browser window is too small for it to display. If that occurs, you can hover your cursor over this pull-out bar to see the Accounts panel (or you can increase the size of the browser window and the Accounts panel will appear).
Assets
The ASSETS section in the top part of the Accounts Panel lists all asset accounts, including cash, investments, and other manual assets you have created.
Clicking on the "ASSETS" heading will expand or collapse this section.
Liabilities
The LIABILITIES section in the lower part of the Accounts Panel lists all liability accounts, including credit cards, loans, and mortgages.
Clicking on the "LIABILITIES" heading will expand or collapse this section.
Account Details
Clicking on an account name in the Accounts Panel will display the account summary page in the main dashboard panel on the right. This is where you can see the financial institution name, account name, balance data, and transactions for the selected account.
Account Errors
Account errors are displayed in the Accounts Panel as well, indicated by colored icons to the left of the account name. Hovering over the icon will display a tool tip on your cursor with information regarding the error, as well as steps to take to resolve the error.
A Red icon indicates that additional steps are required to update the account. Common actions are: entering in your credentials, providing a passcode, or answering a security question. If you are unable to clear the icon with the suggested action, please contact the Empower Support team (see below)
A Yellow icon indicates a syncing error on Empower's side. For this error, please contact the Empower Support team (see below) and leave the account in error in your Empower Dashboard, so we can investigate further.
Contacting Support
You can reach out to our Support team by clicking on your initials in the round button in the upper-right of your dashboard, and then selecting Support. This will open our Support page, where you can click the "Submit a request" link at the top of the page.
