The Budgeting Widget in the Empower Dashboard Overview > Home page is a useful tool to see where your money is going at a glance. While at this time it is not possible to set specific budgeting goals, the Budgeting Widget is a great tool for seeing where in your budget you can make changes. This is where you can see your Expenses in a way that is easy to assess.
The widget consists of five elements:
- How much you've spent in the past 30 days, represented by the Outer Ring. This will turn Red if you exceed your budget
- Your monthly budget is seen in the top half of the center circle. You can edit this value by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the value.
- A comparison of how much you've spent compared to this time last month is represented by the Inner Ring.
- The table to the right of the graph shows your expense categories, sorted by amount.
You can see a detailed breakdown of your cash flow by clicking the Budgeting>> link at the top of the widget.
