You can update the category of a transaction by selecting the specific transaction in the list of transactions for your account. Application specific steps to update the category for a single transaction are listed below:
- Go to the My Accounts Panel and click on the account that contains the specific transaction you want to edit.
- Find and click on the specific transaction.
- Change the category by selecting it within the dropdown menu.
- Click the blue 'Save’ button.
A pop-up will appear asking if you would like to apply changes to future transactions (as well as the option to apply the same changes to past transactions).
- If you DO NOT want to change the category of any other transactions, click on 'No'.

iOS:
- Go to the Net Worth section and tap on the account that contains the specific transaction you want to edit.
- Tap on the transaction you want to edit and then tap on 'Category' and choose the category you prefer.
- Then tap on 'Save' in the top right-hand corner to save your changes.
