When first syncing your Investment accounts the Holdings, Balances and Transactions within your account, the Firm Name, Account Name and Account Type are synced as well. This information can be updated within the web application by selecting 'pencil' icon next to the account name which will open the Edit Account window.
The Account Type can be updated to the following:
- Investment (Non-Retirement)
- Retirement (IRA, 401k, etc.)
- Currency
- Employees Stock Options
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Annuity
- Educational
- Trust
- Estate
- Custodial
- Business/Corporate
- Conservatorship/Guardianship
- Health Savings Account
Depending upon the account type additional information can be specified. (i.e. Ownership, Beneficiaries, etc.)
