Why does my external account require Micro Deposits?
For some external accounts, additional verification may be needed before you can transfer with that account on your Dashboard/Cash account. Micro Deposits are sent/received between banks for that very reason - Verification.
When will my external account receive the Micro Deposits?
Micro Deposits sent to your external bank for Empower Personal Cash will be received within 1-3 business days from when the Micro Deposits are processed.
I got the Micro Deposits, now what?
- Login to your Empower Personal Dashboard
- Initiate a new transfer request using the external account that received the Micro Deposits
- After you click "Submit" on the new transfer request, the option to verify the Micro Deposit amounts will be displayed
- Enter the two Micro Deposit amounts, and submit/verify to proceed
That's it! Your external account should now be verified on the Dashboard for transfers with your Empower Personal Cash account; however, withdrawal limitations for newly linked accounts may still apply. For more information, please click this LINK.
