To mark an account as closed, complete the following steps:
Web:
- Log in to Empower Personal Dashboard
- Click on the pencil icon next to the account you want to mark as closed
- Select "Mark as Closed"
- enter the date that your account was closed.
- Select "Submit".
iOS:
- Sign in to the Empower Personal Dashboard App
- Tap the account you wish to close
- In the upper right corner, tap the 3 dot menu
- Select Edit Account
- Tap Mark as Closed
- Select the date
Android:
- Sign in to the Empower Personal Dashboard App
- Long press on the account
- Tap "Mark as Closed"
- Select the date
Once marked, the balance will be Zeroed out starting on the date selected, and any and all transactions dated after the 'Closed On' date will be deleted.
If an error was made with the "Closed On" date, please contact support and provide account information and correct date.
