When you first add an account to your Empower Personal Dashboard we will attempt to retrieve 1-3 months worth of transactions which varies by financial institution. Furthermore, we track the balance of the account starting from the date the account is linked.
Within each account type the type of information we will be able to display will differ as well.
Bank accounts: Not all financial institutions provide pending transactions (these are transactions that the bank is aware of but hasn't finalized yet, frequently they are debit card authorizations). We will attempt to pull in 1 year of data, however how much data we can fetch is determined by the financial institution.
Credit Cards: We can provide your current interest rate for some credit cards but not all credit cards provide that information to us.
Loans & Mortgages: Not all financial institutions provide the breakdown between principal and interest, interest rates, and in some cases transactions are not provided just the current balance.
Investments: We receive transaction dates, descriptions, action (buy, sell, reinvest, dividend, etc.) shares and amount.
If you are missing current data (after the date the account was linked) or have incorrect data from your accounts, please follow the steps outlined in this article: Resync Account Transactions. If this does not help, please reach out to our Support Team with the following information:
- Last 4-digits of the account.
- Date range during which the transactions are missing.
- Values of the individual transactions.
Please note: The Empower Personal Dashboard currently does not allow for importing historical data from excel or other documents.
