Empower Dashboard allows you to track Bank, Credit, Loan, Mortgage and Investment accounts. You can easily add an account by clicking the Link ("+") icon at the top of the Accounts Panel in the left-hand sidebar, or the "+Connect account" link at the bottom of this panel.
Before you begin:
We can only track accounts for which you already have online access. This means you need to have a username and password for your financial institution in order for us to link and track the account in your Empower Dashboard. Once you have your online access login credentials, you can proceed to link your financial institution.
Step 1:
Search for your financial institution by name, or you can enter the web address (URL) of their website; for example "https://www.citi.com/".
Step 2:
Once you have selected the financial institution, you will then need to enter the credentials you use to log into that site so we can import your account information into your Empower Dashboard. When you enter your credentials and click "Continue", we will attempt to import data from your financial institution.
We verify the credentials with your financial institution. In some instances, your institution may need additional information for us to complete the connection. If so, you will be prompted to provide this information. If no additional information is required, then the linking process will skip Step 3 and return you to the search screen to add any additional accounts.
We will also automatically look for any accounts you have with that institution. For example, if you have checking, savings, and loan accounts at the financial institution you're trying to link, we will attempt to add all of those accounts so you don't need to search and add them individually.
Step 3:
If additional information is not required, you will now see your accounts from this financial institution listed in the left-hand Accounts Panel.
