Following the acquisition of Bank of the West by BMO, accounts are scheduled to be migrated from Bank of the West to BMO. After September 5, Bank of the West accounts will no longer update, and you will need to link your BMO account instead in order to update your accounts.
- If you already have a BMO account linked to your Empower Personal Dashboard, you may need to re-enter the login credentials for your existing BMO account. This will allow your new accounts to connect and update successfully.
- If you do not have a BMO account linked to your Empower Personal Dashboard yet, you will need to link your new BMO account with your BMO credentials which may be different than your previous Bank of the West account.
