The Savings Planner page allows you to view the amount you have saved this year based on the Cash Flow of each investment account.
It is possible that your linked investments accounts may go into error and cause transaction errors, which may cause the Savings Planner to report incorrectly. If this happens, you can adjust the cash flow balance for each investment account. To do so, you can follow the steps outlined below:
- When viewing the Savings Planner page you will see the account table that consists of 5 columns: Account, Type/Owner, Saved Last Year, Saved This Year, and Balances.
- To make the adjustment, you will click on the dollar amount in the 'Saved This Year' column.
Please note: If you do not see a specific account in this list, you will need to select the checkbox at the bottom of the table that says 'Show accounts with $0 saved this year'. This will give you the ability to see all linked investment accounts, even if we are not calculating the savings in that account. - Clicking on this dollar amount will show the specific transactions being taken into account that count toward the 'Saved This Year' column calculation. If you see that there is an error, you can make an adjustment to the amount and update the amount you believe has been saved from that individual account.
If there any missing transactions in the list, please reach out to our Support Team to investigate.
