The Empower website requires users to enter a security code in order for the account to refresh within Empower Personal Dashboard. While our aggregation partner works with Empower to improve this process, you will need to enter this security code at least once each day.
To update your account, take the following steps:
- Locate your Empower account in your My Accounts panel
- Click on the account then click "Refresh Account" to start the refresh - you may need to hover your mouse over the account and click the circular arrow icon to force a refresh
- When prompted, select the Delivery Method to receive your code
- After receiving the code, make sure to enter it within 2 minutes
The account should update after you enter this code, but you may need to enter the code again each day or each time you sign in. If the account does not update at all after entering the code, please contact us.
